We're always asked about the best ways to control weeds in the garden - the best way is to tackle them is at an early stage with a hoe - especially during a warm and windy day so they rapidly dry out and die. Deep rooted perennial weeds are harder to shift by physical methods one of the best methods is to spray with a weedkiller that contains glyphosate a good product for this purpose is Round-Up which kills the roots as well.
