Autumn Tidy-upGet the garden ready for winter with a good autumn tidy up. Tidy up borders by clearing weeds and removing old flower stems. On a calm day, rake up fallen leaves. Fallen leaves can be composted, however any diseased leaves should be disposed of. Old bedding plants, kitchen waste and other debris (although avoid any wood matter) can all be successfully turned into valuable compost for your bed and borders.
