Raemoir Garden Centre - an Independently Managed Family Business
Raemoir Garden Centre has been helping and advising gardeners for
almost 20 years! A local, independently managed business we're able to
offer products that meet customers' needs and not those of a distant
head office.
The Garden Centre started from scratch on a greenfield site by local GP
Dr Frank Mair, an enthusiastic amateur gardener who saw the lack of
resources for gardeners in the area. Despite a lack of business or
retail experience, his plan for the Raemoir Garden Centre was to
introduce quality plants to the area while providing a pleasant family
day out. Our company ethos is to listen to and learn from our customers,
offering choice, quality and personal service.

Big changes have taken
place over the years, with the addition of the Garden Restaurant and
the Gift and Accessories shop. With this diversification, we’re not
only a valuable resource for gardeners but a pleasant place to while
away a couple of hours where you can eat great food, drink a hot frothy
latte or browse for plants or gifts.
Time has moved on, and we remain true to Dr Mair's vision,
strengthening our reputation as one of Scotland's leading garden
centres. Plans for the coming year include the expansion of the Garden
Centre, and the introduction of new health and food orientated product
ranges to meet the needs of our customers.
